This is a two day class. You must attend both days

The NRA Basic CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) Course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to carry and use a concealed firearm safely and responsibly. This course is appropriate for individuals who have little to no experience with concealed carry or those who are looking to refresh their skills.

Throughout the course, students will learn about firearm safety rules, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, cleaning and maintenance, and safe storage options. Students will also have the opportunity to practice basic shooting techniques and engage in live-fire exercises under the guidance of an experienced instructor.

In addition to hands-on training, the course will cover essential safety topics such as safe loading and unloading procedures, proper handling and storage of firearms, and recognizing and responding to malfunctions. Participants will also learn about the legal and ethical responsibilities of gun ownership, including laws regarding the use of lethal force in self-defense situations.

The NRA Basic CCW Course is taught by certified NRA instructors who have extensive experience in pistol shooting and instruction. Students who successfully complete the course will receive an NRA certificate of completion, which is recognized by many states as proof of firearm safety training and may be a requirement for obtaining a CCW permit.
