Description
Two important notes to enjoy your day of training:
-Bring food and fluids with you to consume throughout- There is no food at the range, and we don’t take a formal extended meal break.
-We start at 9:00 sharp! At 9:10 we close the doors and reschedule those who couldn’t make it.
Class Payment
Sun Valley Community Church will pay your course fees and supply the needed ammunition. If you are shooting something other than 9mm, please let the instructors know in advance.
There are a few minor fees you will be responsibe for:
1. $6.00 resistration fee which provides this online platform and certificate generation
2. $10.00 range user fee to be paid directly to the range the day of the class
Topics Covered
Gun Safety, Range Rules & Etiquette, Nomenclature and familiarization, Gun Selection, Carry Systems, Ammunition selection, Basics of Marksmanship, Mental Preparation Level 1, and Live Fire.
Expectations and Outcomes
This class meets and exceeds the Arizona Department of Public Safety requirements if you choose to obtain your concealed weapons permit. We will also fingerprint and fill out all forms for those who wish to get their Arizona concealed weapons permit.
You will be emailed a class certificate upon sucessful completion of the class.

What do I need to bring to class?
-Pen and paper
-A handgun, a quality holster, two magazines for your firearm, and a spare magazine pouch for your belt. (We have a few loaners if you do not have a magazine pouch)
-Eye protection - The range has loaners if you dont have these
-Ear protection - The range has loaners if you dont have these
