Successful completion of this class will allow you to apply for an Illinois Concealed Carry License.

This is the basic handgun and concealed carry combination class. Both classes are necessary and required to apply for your Illinois Concealed Carry License. When you sign up for this class, the basic handgun class is also included.

Topics Covered

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; handgun basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

This complete 2 day class qualifies the student to apply for their Illinois concealed carry license. 

Expectations and Outcomes

Students who successfully show proper attitude, safety and pass a live fire qualification shall receive a certificate signed by an Illinois certified concealed carry instructor.

• Handgun (rentals area vailable)
• Ammunition - 100 (ammunition is included with rentals)
• Close-toed Shoes, for the range
• Thick Belt, on day two.
• Lunch
• Water / Beverage
• Pen & Notebook

Students do not need a FOID card to attend this class.

Students are required to bring their own firearm or may rent one of ours.

Students will be required to provide their own ammunition or may purchase it from the instructor. Ammunition is included with rentals.
