About A & M Firearms Training
My career was centered in education. As I transitioned from public education, I knew my teaching days would continue as I began the journey into firearms, self-protection, and assisting women in their quest to be safe and secure. I have had the great fortune to have taught hundreds of both new shooters and those seeking their CCW permits. This is a responsibility I take seriously. Training never stops and I try to impress that upon those who entrust their own training to me. I value the fact that I have had so many returning students, those who refer me to others. I will always work with an individual in a patient and understanding, yet disciplined manner.
It is my work with The Well Armed Woman (TWAW) Shooting Chapters that has brought me significant joy and satisfaction. I work with both men and women as well as families and youth. It is important for our youth to understand the safety of firearms - it is also important for our youth to be brought into a life of the 2nd Amendment and the importance of being able to protect our lives.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
Classes are scheduled and fees are collected as students enroll. Planning is a big part of a class and the instructor comes prepared to meet the needs of the students. Sometimes extra instructors are brought to the range to support training. Therefore, when someone doesn't come to a class, it changes the dynamics and structure. For this reason, the following policy is in place.
In order to receive a refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee, the notice must be provided, in writing, to amfirearmstraining@gmail.com 72 hours prior to the start of the class.
If notice is given, in writing, 24-71 hours prior to the start of the class, 1/2 the fees of the class + $5 will be retained by the instructor.
No cancellation refund will be given if notice is received 23 hours or less before the start of the class. All fees are retained by the instructor.
Reschedule Policy
Given the cancellation policy, the reschedule policy will allows an option if you cannot attend a class.
A $20 reschedule fee will allow a student to reschedule for a class in the future. A reschedule for a class will be allowed one time. Rescheduling will be allowed for a seat in a future class; the next date may/may not be the class that will accomodate the change. All communication regarding rescheduling should be sent to amfirearmstraining@gmail.com.
Refund Policy
Based on the cancellation policy, refunds will be made payable to the individual who scheduled the class, only. Payment will be sent within five days following the date of the class. If, the seat in the class is filled, a full refund, minus the $25 fee will be made, regardless of the time frame of notice.
