Description
Tactical Medical Essentials begins with a discussion of the tactical problem of dealing with lethal threats while attempting to treat those with life-threatening hemorrhage. It covers the MARCH algorithm, the Stop the Bleed curriculum, dealing with chest injuries, hypothermia and every day carry of medical equipment. $50
The basic Stop the Bleed course as offered by the American College of Surgeons is available to interested groups upon request ($20 administrative fee per attendee)
Expectations and Outcomes
Students will receive a Stop the Bleed course completion certificate issued through the American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed program
