Broward County A Girl & A Gun - Girl’s Night Out (GNO)

Ladies-Only Supervised Practice

This is our relaxed-but-purposeful practice night designed for women of all experience levels. A Girl & A Gun members and nonmembers are welcome. Work at your own pace with instructor supervision, work on specific skills through shooting drills, and get tips for refining fundamental skills while having a great time with other ladies.  

WHAT IS A GIRL & A GUN?

A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League is a national organization that brings women together through firearms education, recreation, competition, and community.

Our Broward County Chapter offers a welcoming place to meet other women, build confidence, practice safe shooting skills, and enjoy time at the range. Women of all experience levels are welcome.

Girl’s Night Out is one way to get to know our chapter. You can attend as a guest before deciding whether membership is right for you.

Interested in becoming a member? Join the Broward County Chapter of A Girl & A Gun. Members and nonmembers are welcome at GNO; joining the chapter does not reserve your event spot. Please RSVP separately.

RSVP & PAYMENT

Online RSVP is free. Event fees apply and are paid to Erica at check-in.

You may RSVP here on ShootingClasses.com to reserve your spot. You will receive an email from Chapter Facilitator, Erica Brown, with instructions on how to join our group on Stack Team App so that you can see all of our events, keep up to date, and reserve your spot for future GNOs and other events.

RSVPs are capped at 15 participants and accepted in the order received. If we reach capacity, additional RSVPs will be added to the waitlist.

Bringing a guest? Email Erica at browardagag@gmail.com to arrange their attendance, or have your guest register separately.

The $25 fee displayed on this listing is a reference price. Actual pricing is listed below. Pay Erica, the chapter facilitator, upon check-in at the range.

If you RSVP “yes” but cannot attend, text Erica at 954-228-9165 so your spot can be offered to someone else. Repeated no-shows will be required to prepay for future GNOs.

• Check-in & Announcements: 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
• Range Time: 6:45 PM - 8:45 PM
• Optional Dinner: Duffy’s Sports Grill, 4800 W Hillsboro Blvd, Coconut Creek, FL

PRICING (cash preferred)

• $18 - Current AG & AG members
• $23 - Guests / interested in joining (up to 3 GNOs)
• $28 - Nonmembers

• Complete your AG & AG waiver in Team App anytime on the day of GNO.
• Firearms must enter unloaded and encased.
• No open-toe shoes or low-cut tops.
• Minimum age: 13, per range policy.
• For participants under 18, a parent or legal guardian must email browardagag@gmail.com to arrange attendance. A parent or legal guardian must remain onsite for minors.
• Eye and ear protection are required. Rental hearing and eye protection are available; please email Erica at browardagag@gmail.com to arrange rental equipment.
• Firearm rentals and ammunition purchases are available from the range. The range requires purchase of its ammunition when renting a firearm.

Expectations and Outcomes

Girl’s Night Out offers a welcoming place to practice, ask questions, and connect with other women who share an interest in safe and responsible firearm ownership.

During supervised range time, participants can:

• Reinforce safe firearm handling and range habits.
• Practice fundamentals such as grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control.
• Receive instructor feedback and tips for improving consistency.
• Work on specific skills through shooting drills appropriate to their experience.
• Practice for a Quarterly Match or work toward their Marksmanship Qualification.
• Identify skills to focus on during future practice or instruction.

Women of all experience levels are welcome. Whether you are building confidence, returning after time away, or maintaining your skills, you can work at your own pace with support and supervision.

GNO is supervised practice rather than a structured beginner course or private lesson. If you are new to firearms or need individual instruction, contact Erica before attending so we can discuss your needs and help you choose an appropriate starting point.

Our goal is for you to leave with useful feedback, a clearer direction for your practice, and connections within the Broward County A Girl & A Gun community.

Documentation Requirements

Complete your AG & AG waiver in Team App anytime on the day of GNO.

State Issued / Government ID required if making purchases or renting anything from the range. 

Requirements

• Wear closed-toe shoes and a shirt without a low neckline.
• Eye and ear protection are required. Rental hearing and eye protection are available; please email Erica at browardagag@gmail.com to arrange rental equipment.
• Firearm rentals and ammunition purchases are available from the range. Ammunition for range rental firearms must be purchased from the range.
