About BMB Firearms Training
Welcome to BMB Firearms Training. I’m Brandy Moreland. I have over 20 years of firearms experience. I am a wife of 21 years to a retired US Marine and a mom to 3 amazing girls. When I met my husband, I also met the world of firearms. They were pretty much a packaged deal. Lucky for me I discovered fast how much fun shooting was. Not long after I got to compete in my very first USPSA local match. Though I didn’t come close to first, I didn’t place last against all those guys. It was at that moment I was hooked. It made me want to learn more and get better. Through all our military moves I got to shoot at many ranges over the years. The one thing I noticed they all had in common was that there were hardly ever any girls there with me. Then in 2022, a friend told me about A Girl and A Gun. It was like a whole new world opened up to me. It was then I was encouraged to take my love for firearms and people to the next level. With so much excitement I quickly signed up for the next class and received my NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Certificate. On the same weekend, I continued to get my NRA Instructor Certification for Basic Pistol. The greatest thing I learned from that unforgettable weekend and what I have always been so passionate about is that “Education is our Greatest Weapon of all!” I now am a Texas Department of Safety License to Carry Instructor and soon-to-be OC (Pepper Spray) Instructor. I love learning as much as I can and I am eager to share my journey and all that I have learned with you.
