Basic Handgun/Concealed Carry Course

Description

The Basic Handgun/Concealed Carry Course is approximately 7 hours long which covers gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, shooting fundamentals, ammunition knowledge and selection, applicable federal and state laws, as well as techniques and options available for carrying a concealed firearm in Florida. Student will shoot a minimum of 20 rounds as part of the course requirement. Successful completion of this course will provide the student with a course completion certificate that will allow them to apply for a Florida Concealed Firearm License.

Expectations and Outcomes

Students who successfully pass this course will receive a course completion certificate.

Documentation Requirements

All students are required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire as part of the registration process.  All students are required to return the completed pre-qualification questionnaire in order to be considered for this course.  Payment in full is required in advance in order to reserve your seat for this course.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Requirements

Students should bring their own firearm and eye/ear protection, as well as 50 rounds of ammunition in order to participate in the live fire portion of the course.
