About Break Point Defense Academy
I am a former Law Enforcement officer having worked in the Prison system and Firearm instructor for a combined experience of 25+ years. I have been instructor developed not only by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement as a Field Training Officer and Instructor but also by the National Rifle Association in the areas of Law Enforcement Handgun Instruction, Range Safety Officer, and their famous "Refuse to be a Victim" seminar speaker. Aside from being an instructor, I am a student in the art of Krav Maga and am always learning to keep my family and myself safe. I am the father of 3 children and have been married for 10 years. I as well am a certified Glock Armorer. I was involved as the Outpost Commander of a boy's church group called the Royal Rangers, where we taught boys the importance of firearm safety, camping, cooking, and other outdoor activities. From both my professional and personal experiences, I am able to provide to you basic fundamental skills of body language and situational awareness to be able to continue living active lives with little to no worries as well as manipulation of your firearm or less-lethal device to make it happen.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
If cancellation occurs within 10 days of the class, there will be a 50% penalty. Within 3 days of the class, there will be no entitlement to a refund.
If cancellation occurs outside of 10 days, a full refund will be provided.
If requesting a private class. There is no refund with the cancellation within 14 days.
Reschedule Policy
If rescheduling is needed within 10 days, no penalties will be applied towards monies paid but will be an additional $10 for rescheduling to a different date. Rescheduling will be allowed 2 times, with the original class date being the penalty phase.
If rescheduling is needed outside of 10 days, there will be no penalties or additional fees.
Refund Policy
Full and/or partial refunds will be administered and refunded to the original payment method within 14 business days.
