About Reiver Training LLC
I have been around firearms since age 10, and have been an avid shooter and (some would say) collector most of my life. I bring an engineer's approach and understanding to my classes and to my students, having completed a 40+ year career in telecommunications engineering and engineering leadership. I have a deep appreciation for how firearms work, and how sometimes they don't, and use my extensive experience in training, speaking, leadership, and knowledge to help my students develop the knowledge and skills to competently, confidently, and safely own, operate, and care for their firearms.

Mr. Buckalew has been an excellent instructor. He covered all the information with clarity, showing high competence, and high ability to communicate a great amount of information to us participants.
The atmosphere during the long hours was sober but friendly, and I was perfectly at ease among the others taking the course.
The instructor answered promptly and thoroughly to all the questions asked.
At shooting time, I was secure and ready to follow the orders given during the test.
After taking this course, I thought that we would have a safer environment if more people acquired the preparation and knowledge that this course provides.
