Description
This Basic Pistol class is designed for new and developing shooters who want to build safe, confident handgun skills. No prior experience is necessary. Students will learn essential firearm safety, proper handling, loading and unloading. Fundamentals: stance, grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control, follow through. The projected outcome is the student will learn basic marksmanship in a calm, patient, step-by-step manner. Rental guns are available for students who do not yet own their own firearm. Certificate of Completion:
Students who successfully complete this course will receive a CCW Training Academy Certificate of Completion. This certificate documents completion of this specific training course. It is not a Florida concealed carry / CWL training certificate unless the class is specifically listed as a Florida concealed carry permit class.

Required ID:
Students must bring a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID card, passport, military ID, or other official photo identification. For permit/certificate classes, the name on the registration should match the name on the student’s ID.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

* Rimfire or center fire pistol or revolver. Rental guns available with advanced notice.
* Factory ammunition for your pistol. (200 Rounds). No reolads.
* Eye and ear protection - A limited amount of loaners are available with advance notice
* A brimmed hat.
* Range approptiate clothing. No low necked shirts to protect from hot brass.
* Full shoes, boots or sneakers. No open toed foot wear.
* Water for hydration.
* Snacks as desired.
* Government issued photo ID
