Students who want detailed pistol instruction, accuracy coaching, draw-from-concealment training, or defensive pistol skills should schedule a separate private pistol training session.

Students should also expect to complete a required live-fire demonstration/test at a local range. The range portion is limited to the live-fire requirement for the certificate and is not a full pistol training lesson. There may be a range fee depending on the range's requirements.

Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate documenting completion of the Florida concealed carry permit training course. This certificate may be used as part of the student’s Florida concealed weapon or firearm license application.

Students who want hands-on firearms coaching, accuracy improvement, draw-from-concealment training, or defensive pistol skills should schedule a separate private pistol training session.

Documentation Requirements

Required ID:
Students must bring a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID card, passport, military ID, or other official photo identification. For permit/certificate classes, the name on the registration should match the name on the student’s ID.

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

CCW Training Academy will supply all equipment required for this training.

Students do not need to provide a firearm, ammunition, targets, eye protection, or ear protection for this in-home training session. 

CCW Training Academy will provide a pistol and ammunition for the live-fire portion of the class at a local shooting range.
