Joseph Jordan is like many of you interested in firearms and self-defense.  His father served in the US Air Force as an AP (Air Police).  He taught his son how to safely handle firearms and respect them as a tool for self defense.  Joseph enjoys target shooting, military history, and firearms history.  This foundation started Joseph's journey toward becoming a firearms instructor and gun shop owner.

Joseph is an mechanical engineer by trade, but wanted to develop a business to serve the community and provide instruction on firearms safety and personal defense.  Joseph obtained his NRA Basic Pistol Instructor's License, NCDOJ Concealed Handgun Instructor's License, and Class I/III FFL in 2011.  Since 2011, Joseph has trained many individuals in NC Concealed Handgun and Safe Firearms Handling.   He established a storefront gun shop in 2016 located in Pinetops, NC.  Joseph is currently planning to retire in the near future and make Firearms Instruction and Gun Shop Sales his primary business.  He has the following guiding principles:

1.  Serve the community and teach NC Concealed Handgun Classes and provide Firearms Sales and Services.
2.  Treat customers with the attention and level of detail necessary for them to become knowledgeable of the Laws regarding Concealed Handgun ownership and the Use of Deadly Force in the State of NC.
3.  Enforce Safe Gun Handling Habits and encourage students to continue their education regarding firearms through practice and pursuit of addition training.

Policies

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least three (3) days prior for a refund minus credit card processing fee of $6.50.  All cancelations within 3 days will result in a credit for a future class.

The only way we can know that a class is full is when students register and pay their fees.

Once a class is full, we have to turn away other students who would like to attend. If you cancel at the last minute, or fail to show up, you potentially keep other students from attending and cost us a student.

Please be sure you can attend a class before registering.  To secure a slot in a course full payment is required unless otherwise specified.

Reschedule Policy

In the event that the instructor needs to reschedule the class, students will be given the opportunity to reschedule to the next availalble course or request a refund of course fees.  If a refund is requested, funds will be returned within 7-10 business days.

Refund Policy

Waiver

The student agrees and does hereby release from all liability and hold harmless Joseph Scott Jordan and Dead On Tactical Arms, LLC and any of its employees representing or related to Joseph Scott Jordan and Dead On Tactical Arms, LLC. This liability release is for any and all liability for personal injuries including death and property loss or damage in connection with any activity or accommodation of the above-mentioned Individual/Business. The undersigned does hereby further agree to abide by all the rules and regulations that are presented by Joseph Scott Jordan and Dead On Tactical Arms, LLC.
