Description
The Basic Pistol class will begin with an informative lecture and PowerPoint presentation and provided with a copy of the NRA Guide to Basics of Pistol Shooting. The course will cover Safety, Knowing Your Pistol, Building Pistol Shooting Skills, and Pistol Maintenance. Upon the conclusion of the lecture, participants will take a 50 question written exam. The second half of the course will be conducted on the range with live fire instruction. Each participate who passes the written exam and level 1-4 of the marksmanship class will receive a certificate of completion from the instructor. Each participate is then eligible to receive a certificate from the NRA for course completion at their own expense (this makes you eligible to take future NRA advanced pistol courses from me or any other NRA instructor). Participants wanting to obtain the CCW are able to do so as part of this class for an additional $25 (two fingerprint cards will be completed at the end of the day). The class is open to any United States citizen.
