Description
If you are confronted in or around your vehicle, NOW is the time to prepare. Learn how to avert the threat if possible, but if a threat cannot be avoided, learn how to defend yourself and your passengers in this one day LIVE FIRE training. You will learn how to enter and exit your vehicle safely, you will learn how to fight back using your car, and we will teach you how to safely draw and fire your gun from in and around your vehicle, how to incorporate your passengers when either armed or unarmed, and, most of all, how to survive the fight. Get ready for some action!
Don't be paranoid. Be prepared.
We will be shooting a variety of targets, including STEEL, and we will shoot in ways that will allow you to fully experience the application of your skills while in your vehicle, belted and unbelted, entering and exiting, and around the car, through the windshield, and through the side glass.

Requirements
Be sure to bring the following:*
Please bring a handgun in a caliber larger than .22 (examples: 9mm, .380 ACP, 10mm, .38 Special, .40 S&W, .45 ACP). The firearm should be a typical carry/defensive size (compact or full-size). Do not bring tiny pocket pistols (pocket/subcompact design like the Ruger LCP, Kel-Tec P-3AT, North American Arms mini revolvers, etc.). We will inspect every firearm on arrival and confirm it is safe to use.
Your handgun must be carried in a functional waist-worn holster (outside-the-waistband or inside-the-waistband on the belt). The holster must fully cover the trigger, securely retain the firearm, and allow safe re-holstering. Pocket, ankle, shoulder, purse, or soft/unsecured holsters are NOT acceptable.
Bring at least 2 -3 magazines (or speed loaders for revolvers) if you have them, and factory-loaded ammunition for the caliber you bring — 200-250 rounds for this class.
If you don’t own a suitable handgun or holster, contact us before class — limited rental options may be available.
Eye/Ear protection (we recommend electronic ear protection so you can hear instruction AND for this class, both ear plugs and ear muffs for shooting from inside the car), Baseball or similar cap, Sunscreen, bug spray, water/sports drink, lunch/snacks, and any other personal comfort items you may need.
You will be driving and using your own vehicle to learn real life defensive driving skills and shooting from in and around your own vehicle - call us for questions.
*(NOTE: If there are any questions regarding your equipment, please contact Gary at 912-667-5667 for clarification.)
