Description
Are you still shooting low and left? Tired of the same old range sessions? Burning through ammo and not improving? Pistol Practice includes 20 chapters of exercises, challenges, scoresheets, and targets that make skill building fun, and to take home with you. These drills can be done with SIRT Pistols and with live fire on the range. Whether you are new to firearms and seeking the basics or an established shooter seeking to improve your skills, we can tailor sessions to meet your needs.

Expectations and Outcomes
Improve pistol shooting skills and integrate safe, confident gun handling skills so that working the handgun has the potential to become second nature and where the student seems to remember the movements without needing conscious direction.

Documentation Requirements
Congratulations on your successful registration for the upcoming class with GTAC. Be sure to confirm your date, time, and location. Directions to 17 South Rod and Gun Club are available online.
Once you have entered the 17S gate, follow the road past the clubhouse, past the skeet range, to the 500 yard range. The GTAC gate is to the left of the 500 yard range. You will see our logo on the fence. Please park outside the fenced area. You are welcome to use the restrooms in the clubhouse, at the skeet range, or near the tactical bays. We look forward to a fast paced, safe, and challenging class with you.

Requirements
Prerequisite Class(s): First Shots and/or NRA Basic Pistol or equivalent.
A few reminders for class. We will begin at the GTAC range at 17 South (Located left of the 500 yd range). Be aware of outdoor temperatures and prepare accordingly.
Mandatory Equipment:
Functional handgun 380 ACP or greater
Serviceable hip carry holster - We are happy to make suggestions!
Please make sure your handgun and holster are functional!
At least 3 magazines, magazine holders and stiff belt
100 - 150 rounds of ammunition for your gun
Eye and ear protection
Hat with brim (baseball hat)
Sunscreen and Bug Spray
Note book/pen is HIGHLY recommended
