Junior Guards Firearm Safety

Description

Junior Guards Fundamental Firearm Safety and Marksmanship: This class will expose participants to the fundamentals of firearm safety, shooting a handgun, responsibilities, and other aspects of safe firearm use.

A few things the class includes:

- Safe firearm handling
- Firearm parts and operation
- Ammunition and its function
- Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship

For this class, we supply everything needed; Firearm, Ammo, Eye and Hearing protection, all at no additional charge. This class includes use of our laser SIRT guns, as well as live fire on the range with pistols we provide.

- Course duration: 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
- Location: 17 South Rod and Gun Club, Hwy 17 South, Richmond Hill, GA
- Pre-requisite: NONE

- Student requirements: Eye protection if you have, ear protection if you have, a good attitude, and the desire to learn about firearms safety. We will provide eye and ear protection if you do not have your own.

Expectations and Outcomes

This class exposes participants to the fundamentals of firearm safety, responsibilities, and foundational skills of shooting a handgun.

Documentation Requirements

Congratulations on your successful registration for the upcoming class with GTAC. Be sure to confirm your date, time, and location. Directions to 17 South Rod and Gun Club are available online. Once you have entered the gate, follow the road to the clubhouse. Park on either side and meet up with your Junior Guard instructors! We look forward to an informative, safe, and challenging class with you.

Requirements

All participants under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian sign waiver.

ShootingClasses.com policy will only allow a student under the age of 18 to be registered for a firearms training class with the consent of both the instructor and the parent or legal guardian.

We do allow appropriately mature minors to attend firearms training classes provided the parent or guardian is present to observe the range portion of the class.  Please contact us to confirm each class's individual youth policy.  Once you have the instructor’s approval you will need to register the student using your information (date of birth) and comment that the registration is for the minor, otherwise ShootingClasses.com will reject the registration. *Be sure to use the student's name for the registration so it will print on the class certificate.
