There are no upcoming classes scheduled for this course.
This class is all about learning about shooting practices, responsibilities and safety.
After completing the academic portion of this course, we will go to a convenient range for an hour of the practical application of what we learned.
This class length is approximately 4 hours, excluding travel time to the range.
We will discuss the components of revolvers, pistols, and ammunition as well as the types of ammunition and their applications.
We further talk about firearm and ammunition malfunctions and cleaning your handgun(s).
Expectations and Outcomes
Basic knowledge of both pistols and revolvers including their component parts as well as ammunition. At the end of the live-fire portion of the class, the student hopefully has the confidence and comfort to continue going to the range to improve their firearm handling and marksmanship.
Basic knowledge of their firearms(s) is mandatory before they can continue on with Concealed Carry or other advanced courses.
Have at least your self-defense handgun with you. There will be NO live ammunition in the class area.
