Description

Using lethal force for self-defense against another person should be avoided at nearly all costs. Unfortunately, there are times when violence is the only answer, and if we find ourselves in a situation in which we are in immediate danger of being seriously injured or killed then it makes sense that we need to be prepared to deal with it if we want to go home afterwards. This class is a 3-D defensive approach to defensive shooting in which the objective is to stop another person who is actively attempting to kill the student in the shortest possible amount of time. The more time that a criminal attacker has to successfully injure or kill their intended victim the greater the chances are that they will succeed in whole or part. Concealed carriers and law enforcement and private security officers that understand basic tactical anatomy and possess competent short-range surgical marksmanship skills and a strong survival mindset are more likely to go home the same day that they were attacked than those who lack one or more of these same attributes. Class curriculum is largely based upon the methodology taught by Doctor James S. Williams in his Tactical Anatomy Shooting With X-Ray Vision Instructor class attended by PTG instructors Steve Moses and Guy Schnitzler.
