Quick question: How long would it take you to decide if someone chose YOU as their target?

You'd have seconds, maybe less...

And here's the thing—most training focuses on mechanics. How to shoot. How to fight. How to defend.

But almost NO training focuses on the decision itself.

Should you run? Create distance? Use verbal commands? Draw your weapon? Call 911? Each choice depends on what's happening, how much time you have, and how much space is between you and the threat.

That's why we created Image-Based Decisional Drills (IBDD).

What Is IBDD?

It's a full-day intensive class (10AM-5PM) where you'll learn to make ONE good FIRST decision based on visual stimuli—and act on it instantly.

We use:
? 300+ realistic image scenarios on a big screen
? 10-second timers to create pressure
? Hands-on training with inert pepper spray, SIRT pistols, verbal commands, and more
? Science-backed methods (Recognition-Primed Decision model + proxemics research)

You'll practice recognizing danger, managing distance, cycling through tools, and working through adrenaline—all BEFORE your safety is actually on the line.

As a Grunt Goat Tactical Defensive Training alumni, you've already invested in your training. You know your tools. You practice your skills.

But when was the last time you practiced DECIDING under realistic time pressure?

• What if the threat is 25 feet away vs. 6 feet?

• What if you freeze?

This isn't a typical class. You'll be making split-second decisions under realistic pressure using images, timers, and hands-on scenarios. We'll guide you through:

• The 9 decision options
• Distance management (Reactionary Zones)
• Verbal commands, 911 calls, tool cycling
• Working through adrenaline and altered perceptions

Remember: In every scenario, it's happening to YOU. You ARE your first responder.

Note for Parents/Guardians: Students under 18 will NOT participate in lethal decision scenarios or use SIRT training pistols.

Valid picture ID

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

What to Bring:

• Open mind & note-taking materials
• Proper outdoor weather attire
• Sack lunch (30-45 min lunch break)
• Water/hydration
