Description
In this 1-day course, there is a lot of pertinent information the State of Delaware requires you to have, this course covers their requirements and more. This is a one-day course.
Topics Covered
- Safe handling of firearms.
- Safe storage of firearms and child safety
- Safe handling of ammunition.
- Safe storage of ammunition and child safety.
- Safe firearms shooting fundamentals.
- Live fire shooting exercises.
- Ongoing firearms training.
- Federal and state laws pertaining to the lawful purchase, ownership, transportation, use, and possession of firearms.
- Lawful use of deadly force for self-defense in Delaware.
- Avoiding a criminal attack and how to manage a violent confrontation, including conflict resolution.
Expectations and Outcomes
If you pass the course, a letter is sent to the Attorney General's Office in Delaware, and the application you filled out should be approved upon the passing of this course.
If you pass the paper test but fail the firing course, you may retake the firing course within 7 days with a $50 fee.
If you have however failed to pass this course, you may re-take the course on the next available date for a $100 sitting fee.
