Defensive Disruptive Environments Alumnus

Description

This will be a multiple day course consisting of three separate range sessions. The first range session will consist of a structured shooting course involving rifles and pistols.

The second course of fire will be a lowlight rifle only course utilizing suppressors, white light and night vision (optional).

The third course of fire will consist of rifles/pistols in a structured drill setting where the shooters time and accuracy will be counted.

Also included in this event will be a barbecue and an event T-shirt.

1. Shooting on the move
2. The use of cover and concealment
3. Working as a single shooter and as part of a small team element.
4. Understanding your environment and how to use it to your advantage
5. Working in low light or no light conditions as a single shooter and in a small team element
6. Shooting under stress utilizing strict time constraints and mandatory accuracy requirements

Requirements

The student must meet one of the following criteria to attend this event.

1. Attended one or more of JMT Training Solutions courses.
2. Active or retired law enforcement/military
3. Taken an advanced course with a reputable instructor.

• 300rd pistol/600rd rifle 
• Kydex holster 
• 3 magazines for each weapon system
• Magazine holder
• Weapon mounted light 
• Eye/Hearing protection
• Belt suitable for holster
• Long pants
• Closed toed shoes
• Sling
