Description
The DC Concealed Carry Pistol License Course is a legally mandated training program required by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) for individuals applying for a DC Concealed Carry License. This course focuses on firearm safety, legal responsibilities, situational awareness, conflict management, and safe operation of a handgun.
Unlike defensive pistol or tactical CCW courses, this training is not designed to teach drawing from concealment, holster skills, or defensive shooting techniques. It strictly follows the curriculum outlined by MPD to ensure students understand the laws, safety principles, and responsibilities associated with carrying a firearm in the District of Columbia.
