MDTTactics Training Group, a division of SureFire Elite Tactical, is committed to developing disciplined, confident, and capable individuals through professional firearms, security, safety, and defense training. At MDTTactics, we don’t just teach—we prepare you to perform when it matters most.

Our courses include beginner through advanced firearms instruction for new, intermediate, and experienced shooters, as well as both basic and advanced armed and unarmed security officer training. We also provide essential lifesaving skills through Basic and Professional CPR and First Aid certification courses.

In addition, students can prepare for real-world emergencies with our Active Threat and Emergency Response training, along with practical Crime Prevention workshops focused on awareness, decision-making, and personal safety strategies.

Lead Instructor: Andre Walker

Andre Walker is the Lead Instructor of SureFire Elite Tactical and a highly experienced firearms and security training professional with a strong background in law enforcement, protective services, and defensive tactics. With over a decade of service in law enforcement and federal security operations in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, he brings real-world experience and practical insight to every course he teaches.

Mr. Walker is a certified instructor in multiple disciplines, including firearms instruction, active threat response, CPR/First Aid, and defensive tactics. He has trained both civilians and security professionals, with a strong focus on safety, discipline, legal responsibility, and real-world application.

Dedicated to professional development and student success, Andre Walker is committed to building confident, capable, and prepared individuals through high-quality, hands-on training that translates directly into real-life readiness.

Cancellation Policy

Reschedule Policy

Student-Initiated Rescheduling

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If a student needs to reschedule their training, the request must meet the following requirements:

1. Rescheduling Deadline

Students must submit their reschedule request no later than 72 hours before the scheduled class start time.

• All reschedule requests must be approved by the instructor before they are confirmed.

2. Emergency Exceptions

If a student is unable to attend due to a documented emergency, they may be eligible for an exception.

• Please refer to the Emergency Policy for details on what qualifies and what documentation may be required.

3. Reschedule Window

All rescheduled training must be completed within 60 days of the original class date.

• Students who do not complete their training within this 60-day window will forfeit all payments, and a new registration will be required.

4. Non-Eligible Situations

Reschedule requests made within 72 hours of the class start time (and not related to an approved emergency) will be treated as no-shows.

• No-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand and affirm that my participation in this training is entirely voluntary and undertaken of my own free will.

2. Assumption of Risk

I recognize that training activities may involve physical exertion and inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Muscle strains or sprains
• Slips, trips, or falls
• Accidental contact injuries
• Other unforeseen incidents that may result in serious harm

I confirm that I am physically capable of participating and have consulted a healthcare professional if necessary.

3. Release of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to participate, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless [Facility Name] / MDTTactics Training Group, its owners, employees, contractors, and instructors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage I may sustain while participating in this training, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Acknowledgment of Policies

I acknowledge that I have received, read, and fully understand all MDTTactics Training Group policies, including but not limited to:

• Cancellation Policy
• Rescheduling Policy
• Refund Policy
• Emergency Policy
• General Terms and Conditions

I agree to comply with all policies and understand that failure to do so may result in forfeiture of payments or dismissal from training.

5. Acceptance of Terms

I affirm that I have read and understand this waiver in its entirety, and I voluntarily agree to its terms without coercion or misrepresentation.
