Description

Our most popular class! This beginning pistol course uses proven teachings and techniques from the USCCA curriculum. Aimed at beginners, the class teaches safe gun handling, gun and ammunition selection, holster selection, and intensive shooting fundamentals.

Classroom fee includes a complimentary copy of the official USCCA textbook, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.

Expectations and Outcomes

By the end of this class, students should be very comfortable with their beginning gun handling skills and understanding of the modern handgun and the proper uses of various types of ammunition. They should have a basic understanding of their rights and responsibilities as concealed carriers and be ready to continue their training to improve their shooting fundamentals.

A USCCA certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of the course.

Students will be required to sign a waiver at the firing range.

Requirements

Wear a hat with a brim or bill (like a ball cap) and closed toed shoes. Rental guns are available, or you may bring your own firearms. Ammunition is available for purchase at the range.

All guns must be unloaded, locked open, and kept in cases or range bags until we are at the firing line--no exceptions!
