New to rifles and short on time? This intensive, condensed class uses elements of USCCA and NRA teachings and techniques to empower students who want a rifle for home or personal defense, but aren't sure where to start. Students will learn safe gun handling, gun anatomy and nomenclature, how to select the best rifle for their needs, safe storage and cleaning, and ammunition selection.
Students will receive a completion certificate suitable for framing and a complimentary copy of the USCCA textbook by Michael Martin, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.

Expectations and Outcomes
Students will have a solid understanding of various rifle calibers and action types, and how to select the best rifle and ammunition for their needs, as well as how to practice and improve on their own time for better marksmanship and defensive tactics.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate that is suitable for framing.

Students will be required to sign a waiver at the range.
Wear a hat with a brim or bill and closed-toed shoes. A sling is optional and not necessary. Bring water or a beverage and a pen and notebook for taking notes.
All guns must be unloaded and locked open, and contained within a rifle bag or sleeve until you are on the firing line. There are no exceptions to this rule.
