Description
Defensive Pistol 1 is a course designed for responsible gun owners that want to start their journey as a well trained shooter. Perfect for that first time gun owner or a gun owner that hasn't shot in years. We will begin in the classroom at MTAC and then we will move to the DCSO Range. The course will cover:

Requirements
Recommended equipment: Weather appropriate attire, sunscreen, portable chair, range gear, no open toed shoes, food, hydration.
Required equipment: Clear eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1, hearing protection, pistol belt, pants with pockets, and a positive attitude. 250 rounds of commercially loaded ball ammunition. Note taking materials, handgun, retention holster for your handgun, minimum of 2 magazines (if semi-automatic), pockets to store magazines
