This class utilizes the MantisX system, Laser Academy, and the TitanX training pistol to turn dry practice into purposeful, data driven training. The TitanX pistol provides a safe, inert training platform that allows students to focus on grip, trigger press, and fundamentals without live ammunition, making it ideal for repetition and confidence building.

MantisX mounts to the firearm or TitanX and analyzes movement before, during, and after the trigger press, identifying issues such as flinching, trigger slap, or recoil anticipation and providing instant feedback through the app. Laser Academy adds point of impact confirmation using a laser training cartridge and scored targets, allowing you to see hits, timing, and performance in real time. Together, these tools create a powerful training experience that keeps practice engaging, measurable, and effective, whether you are training at home or in class.

Topics Covered

MantisX and the TitanX are motion-based shooting systems that analyze movement during the firing process. Based on this movement, these systems areable to give you feedback on possible errors in your technique and what you might be doing to cause those errors. Think of them as diagnostic tools, like study guides, that you continue to use to improve until it is time for the test.

Laser Academy gives you point of impact data while dry-practice training with your firearm. It will give you hit locations, the time between shots, and scores depending on the target used. Laser Academy is the test. Obtain sight picture, press the trigger, and if you are getting great scores, you know all the work you put into the study guide paid off. If not, get back to the study guides. 😉

Expectations and Outcomes

By the end of this course you will understand how to use your MantisX Training System and your Laser Academy and you will feel confident in its use as part of your dry-practice training regimen.
