Description
This 4-hour, non-shooting, classroom-based course teaches you the fundamentals of firearm safety every responsible gun owner should know. Whether you own a gun, are considering purchasing one, or simply want to be confident around them, this course provides knowledge, confidence, and peace of mind.
Firearms discussed in this training will include semiautomatic pistols, revolvers, shotguns, & bolt/lever action rifles. Caliber sizes range from .22 – 7.62.

- Primary causes of firearms accidents
- Firearm parts
- How to identify and safely unload different types of firearms
- Ammunition basics and safe storage practices
- Care & cleaning of firearms
- Safe storage of firearms in the home

- The benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports
Expectations and Outcomes
Each student who successfully completes this course will receive a Certificate of Completion from Northpointe Training, LLC.
