Build the teaching skills and confidence needed to help others learn safely and effectively. NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) prepares instructor candidates to organize courses, present lessons clearly, use training materials, and create a professional, supportive learning environment.
BIT provides the foundation for NRA instructor training and must be paired with the appropriate discipline specific instructor course to pursue certification. Completing BIT alone does not qualify you to teach NRA firearm courses.
If you have completed BIT within the past two years, please contact me before registering to confirm whether you need to attend again.
The course fee is $75 when taken as a standalone course. BIT is included at no additional charge when taken as part of any NRA Instructor Course offered by Northpointe Training, LLC.
