Description
Our Self-Defense Life Skills Academy Course Series is designed for the individual who is concerned, curious, or confused about their self-defense needs, how to address them, and some less than lethal (non-firearm) options that are available to them as a civilian. 😊
This Academy Series includes three 2-hour courses that can be completed over three weekday evenings or in a single day, offering flexible scheduling to fit your availability:
Week 1 Course 1: Situational Awareness & Pepper Spray Use
Week 2 Course 2: Flashlight Use, Impact Tools, & Environmental Weapons
Week 3 Course 3: Stop The Bleed & STB Certification
This is the final course in our Self-Defense Life Skills Academy Course Series. This 2-hour Stop The Bleed® training course provides life-saving knowledge and hands-on skills to help you recognize and respond to life-threatening bleeding emergencies. Through expert instruction and realistic practice, students will learn how to apply direct pressure, pack wounds, and properly use tourniquets, critical tools that can make the difference between life and death in the moments before professional help arrives. No medical experience is needed. Upon completion, participants will receive a national Stop The Bleed certification from the American College of Surgeons, equipping them to act with confidence in emergencies at home, at work, or in the community.
This course is perfect for:
- Concerned citizens who want to be prepared in an emergency
- Parents, teachers, coaches, babysitters, and caregivers
