Description
Is your house of worship prepared to respond to an active killer event? Does your team know what to do when seconds count? This foundational course is designed to help congregations assess their current security posture, identify gaps, and begin developing an effective response plan.
Whether you're just forming a church safety team or looking to strengthen your existing one, this training introduces essential principles in church security, team coordination, and response tactics. Participants will engage in scenario-based exercises and gain real-world skills to help protect their community in a crisis.Topics Covered
Topics covered will include:
- Overview and history of active killing events targeting houses of worship
- Armed and unarmed response strategies
- Threat types and early identification
- How to communicate effectively with 911 and coordinate with arriving law enforcement/EMS
- Basic medical response training and recommended equipment
- Stop The Bleed Training and Certification
- Understanding response roles: Hunter vs. Ambusher
- Introduction to movement and tactical response
- Scenario-based training using SIRT laser pistols (no live-fire)
Expectations and Outcomes
Students will receive a course completion certificate from Northpointe Training, LLC and their Stop The Bleed Certification.
