Description

This nationally recognized CPR/AED and First Aid certification course blends the core standards of HSI and the American Red Cross with selected medical emergency concepts from the USCCA Emergency First Aid Fundamentals course. It equips students with the critical knowledge and hands on skills needed to respond confidently to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies.

Whether at home, at work, or in public, training in CPR and basic life support can make the difference between life and death.

Participants will learn how to perform adult, child, and infant CPR, use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and provide immediate care for bleeding, burns, fractures, choking, and other common injuries and medical conditions until professional help arrives. This course also meets OSHA and workplace training requirements.

Upon successful completion, students will receive a 2-year CPR/AED and First Aid certification through either the American Red Cross or HSI, depending on the course offering, as well as a certificate of completion for the USCCA Emergency First Aid Fundamentals portion.
