Description

Carrying a firearm for self-defense comes with serious legal, moral, and personal responsibilities. This two-hour workshop is designed to prepare students beyond the minimum CHL requirements by developing a clear understanding of when the use of force is legally justified and what happens after a defensive encounter.

Legal defensive readiness means being fully prepared to make decisions in a defensive situation that you can clearly justify under the law before, during, and after the incident.

It mean not just surviving the encounter but also surviving the legal consequences of it.

This course is not about tactics or shooting. It is about decision making, accountability, and understanding the consequences of your actions before you ever face a critical moment.

Students will leave with a stronger foundation in Ohio law, greater confidence in their judgment, and a realistic understanding of what it means to carry responsibly.
