*Summer Interactive Learning Series*
Coffee & Confidence with Candy is a three part interactive learning series designed to help students become safer, more prepared, and more confident through practical, real world education.
This course is one of three classes in the series:
- Situational Awareness & Personal Safety
- Home Defense Planning
- Firearms for Beginners
Purchasing a firearm can feel overwhelming.
With countless models, calibers, features, opinions, and marketing claims competing for your attention, many prospective firearm owners are unsure where to begin.
Every day, people purchase firearms based on a friend's recommendation, a salesperson's opinion, something they saw online, because it was cute, small, easy to conceal, or because someone they trust told them it was "the right gun." Unfortunately, the firearm that works perfectly for one person may not be the best choice for another.
The truth is that selecting the right firearm is a highly personal decision that should be based on your individual needs, goals, experience level, and lifestyle.
Coffee & Confidence: Firearms for Beginners is a welcoming, beginner friendly classroom course designed to help students understand the fundamentals of firearm ownership, explore common firearm options, and develop the knowledge necessary to make informed purchasing decisions.
Students will have the opportunity to examine a variety of unloaded firearms, discuss practical considerations with an experienced instructor, and gain a better understanding of how to evaluate different options based on their unique needs.
This course is intended to provide information and guidance, not sales pressure.
Whether you are considering your first firearm for personal protection, home defense, recreational shooting, or simply want to better understand the options available, this course will provide practical information that can help you move forward with confidence.
Because buying your first firearm should not feel overwhelming.
It should feel empowering.
