Description
The North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) Training Course is the model course produced by the North Carolina Justice Academy. Upon the completion of the classroom portion a written examination will be administered, followed by the live fire qualification. The successful student will receive a "Certificate of Completion" that will be required when submitting an application for issuance of the North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP). The Concealed Carry Handgun Training course must meet minimum standards as set forth by the North Carolina Administrative Code. These requirements include a minimum of eight (8) hours of classroom instruction and a wriiten examination, PLUS, a live fire qualification.

NOTE:
Upon completion, the successful student will receive a serialized Certificate of Completion which must accompany their application for issuance of the NC Concealed Handgun Permit. Please contact the Sheriff's Office in your County of residence for further information. You must provide the orginal copy of your certificate. Please make a copy for your personal records.

Documentation Requirements
Present your valid form of ID (Military/LE/FR/Gov't ID upon arrival at the course - if you are taking advantage of course discounts).
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
Upon the completion of class registration the student will receive an email that will detail "must know/must have" information. Please read it thoroughly and completely.
STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING THEIR FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION TO THE CLASSROOM. THEY MUST REMAIN SECURED IN THEIR VEHICLE UNTIL TIME FOR THE SHOOTING QUALIFICATION. NO EXCEPTIONS. THANK YOU.
