Breaking the Grab is a practical self-defense course that focuses on not only escaping from being detained during a physical assault, but also focuses on measures that can help prevent you from being grabbed, pinned, or worse. Learn simple but highly effective methods from highly trained Instructors that have used these techniques in the past.
Instructional topics will include:
Wrist Grabs
Bear Hugs
• Front and rear
• Chokes
• Front and rear
Grounded Positions (Advanced Course)
Grounded laying on your back
Grounded laying on your stomach
Other common grabs and holds

Expectations and Outcomes
This course focuses on preventing and escaping from an assailant during an assault.
Student will walk away with a better understanding of situational awareness, how to avoid being grabbed, taken, pinned, or worse. Students will have the gained knowledge and skill of basic self-defense.
