Woman-Only Gun Safety

Description

Women are the fastest-growing segment of gun owners in the country. More and more women are choosing to exercise their Second Amendment rights and join America's gun culture. However, the world of firearms can be confusing, with a bewildering amount of catchphrases and industry-specific terms that can seem quite fearful at times.
This class is designed to calm those fears, and ease women into the fun of the shooting sports and safe and confident gun ownership.
The class consists of two parts: A short seminar on women's self defense, gun safety and the basics of marksmanship, and then a range session where each student will shoot a variety of rifles and pistols so every student can understand what guns can and can't do.

Expectations and Outcomes

Students will gain knowledge of the rules of gun safety and will have an opportunity to shoot a variety of guns.

Requirements

All ammunition and firearms will be provided, but if you have a firearm of your own and want to shoot it, feel free to bring it (unloaded and in a case or holster) to the class.
