Requirements

The following items are recommended:
-AR15 with red dot optic
-2 magzines minimum, 3 would be better
-magazine pouch, 1 minimum, 2 would be better
-if you have a battle belt or plate carrier, feel free to bring it for use on the range but it's not required
-note taking material
-gun cleaning kit (if you have it)
-eye and ear protection (if you have it)
-water and snacks (we will break for lunch, but we want to ensure you are well nourished and hydrated throughout the day)
-ball cap
-sun block, bug spray, or anything else you may need for outdoors(we will be outside for the shooting portion)
-low and loose fitting neck lines on shirts are not recommended, as hot brass being ejected from a rifle can easily find their way into uncomfortable places, causing a safety issue when handling live weapons

*A limited number of loaner rifles are available. It is recommended you bring your own if you have it. Preferred sighting system is a red dot optic for this class. An LPVO (Low Power Variable Optic) is acceptable for this class. We will not be shooting long distances.

REQUIRED ITEMS:
-Closed toe shoes (for safety reasons, you will not be allowed to shoot if you wear anything other than closed toe shoes)
-80 rounds of .223 ammunition
(LAP, Green tip, M855, or any variant of steel core ammunition is not allowed! You will not be allowed to shoot it!)

Do NOT bring live ammunition into the classroom.
