Description

This course builds on Advanced Combat Pistol 1 and attendees must successfully complete Advanced Tactical Pistol 1 prior to enrolling in this course. This is our most advanced pistol course and it is designed to help you reach your top performance in all areas of our high operator standards. It covers all aspects of your pistol handling, manipulation, body positioning and shooting in-depth and also takes you into Reticent Warriors ethos and teaching philosophy. This course will help you master the mental and physical skills needed in a gunfight or other high-threat/deadly force encounter.

Performance-Based Training: Our methods and teachings may be a little different than what you have previously experienced. We use Performance-Based training combined with limited Standards-Based training. Obviously, we have high standards for our training programs but we don’t train for outcomes ie. ambiguous standards, we train for your forward progress. Our focus is to help you improve your personal performance (skillset) at whatever level you are at today so you can be better, faster and smarter tomorrow.

Prerequisite - RWT Advanced Tactical Pistol 1

As with all our courses you must first empty your cup. Neither a full cup nor a big ego have room for more. You must come prepared physically and mentally to work hard and maintain an open-mind. You must also understand the principles/concepts taught in ACP1 because this course builds on it. You also need the traditional martial arts humble spirit that is ready to learn and put in the work required to move forward in your skill development. This is an Advanced Combat Pistol course so you will get dirty, sweaty and tired. (But it will be so worth it!)

  1. Proof of successful completion of Advanced Combat Pistol 1 (ACP1).

  2. A quality semi-automatic pistol (iron sights or optic) with a tactical or OWB duty holster.

  3. At least 3 magazines for your pistol with tactical or duty mag pouches.

  4. Tactical or Duty belt

  5. Full tactical kit (vest, plate carrier, helmet, etc.) or duty gear If available.

  6. Minimum of 500 rounds of quality range ammo.

  7. Weather appropriate attire that you don’t mind getting dirty. (Patrol uniforms may get ruined)

  8. Hearing protection and Eye protection

  9. Hydration - Water, Gatorade, etc.

  10. Lunch/Snacks

  11. Small notebook/pen

  12. Brown or tan masking tape (to tape holes in targets)

Recommended Items - Electronic ear pro, Hat, Gloves, Knee pads, Sunscreen, bug repellant
