This course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to training and supervising NRA range safety officers and developing range standard operating procedures. The NRA Chief Range Safety Officer CRSO course teaches instructor candidates how to train and certify NRA Range Safety Officers (RSO’s) and to be a safety leader at a range and shooting events. Instructor candidates must pass a written exam with 90% or better to meet certification requirements. Required prerequisites (NOT Included): NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) and current Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within last 2 years. Course is 8 hours, plus 6 hours if the BIT is needed.
