Description

This is the next level after you've completed a basic pistol class.   We will review the shooting fundamentals, as well as work on drawing from the holster, handgun malfunctions, magazine changes, marksmanship, and how to do it safely.  Safety is number one and will be continually enforced throughout the class.  Approximately 100 rounds of ammunition will be needed.

Expectations and Outcomes

The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.

Requirements

  • Eye protection
  • Ear protection
  • Firearm (due to safety concerns, the SIG P320's are not allowed on the range)
  • Bag or case for firearm
  • 100 rounds of ammunition
  • Optional: Quality Kydex holster and sturdy belt
  • Ball cap/hat with brim to keep hot brass off of you.
  • High neckline shirt.
  • Long pants.
  • Closed toe comfortable shoes (we will be outside standing in gravel for the shooting portion).
  • Notebook and pen.
  • Water bottle, snacks (whatever comfort needs).
  • Sunscreen.
  • Clothes appropriate for outside weather.
  • Teachable attitude!
ALL FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION WILL REMAIN IN RANGEBAGS UNTIL TOLD TO UNBAG and Holster.
