Description
This is the next level after you've completed a basic pistol class. We will review the shooting fundamentals, with a heavy concentration on the marksmanship, and how to do it safely. Safety is number one and will be continually enforced throughout the class. Approximately 150 rounds of ammunition will be needed. All strings of fire will be from low ready so a holster is NOT required. This is a cold range so all firearms must be unloaded and safely stored in a range bag upon arrival.

- Marksmanship: accuracy & precision
- Understanding "why are my shots going here?"
- Knowing your gun and ammo and affects on accuracy/precision
- Two handed shooting
- Single handed shooting; dominant and non-dom hand
- All strings between 3-15 yards
- Magazine changes
- all 4 hours spent on the range
Expectations and Outcomes
- Student will receive a certificate
- The student will have the basic understanding of how to handle a semi auto pistol as safely as possible
- The student will have the basic fundementals of how to shoot a semi auto pistol
- The student will know how to conduct magazine changes
- The student will understand the fundementals of marksmanship

Documentation Requirements
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
- Eye protection
- Ear protection
- Semi-auto handgun (due to safety concerns, the SIG P320's are not allowed on the range) Iron sights and Optics welcome
- Bag or case for firearm
- 150 rounds of ammunition
- Ball cap/hat with brim to keep hot brass off of you.
- High neckline shirt.
- Long pants to keep hot brass off of you
- Closed toe comfortable shoes (we will be outside standing in gravel for the shooting portion).
- Notebook and pen.
- Water bottle, snacks (whatever comfort needs).
- Sunscreen.
- Clothes appropriate for outside weather.
- Teachable attitude!
