Description
To receive CCH Certification each person is required to attend class consisting of 8 hours of in person instruction. This class is broken up into 2 classes - 4.5 hours each class.
In class we'll go over Handgun Safety and fundamentals. Then the second part of class we'll go over the laws and responsibilities of obtaining your CCH. Then complete the shooting quilifcation with a handgun and 30 rounds.
Don't Have a Gun? No problem gun with ammo rental is available.
Gun and ammo rental available for an extra $20.
Topics Covered
There will be a minimum of 3 full hours of discussing NC Laws based upon NC Common Law and Statutory Law in which the use of deadly physical force would be justifiable.
Learn the places where handguns may not be carried even if the individual has a Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.
Pistol fundamentals
Identify major parts of the revolver or semiautomatic pistol
Demonstrate proficiency in Marksmanship Fundamentals
Expectations and Outcomes
You must pass a 20 Multiple choice and True / False test to receive your certificate.
A Handgun and 30 rounds of ammunition.
Will be firing from 3, 5 & 7 yards and shooting at a B-27 full size target
Must be a legal NC Resident
18 years old for the class, and 21 years old for the CCH Permit
Eye and Ear protection is provided
