About Tactical Firearms Solutions

After serving six years in the U.S. Army as an Infantryman—including a deployment to Afghanistan in 2011–2012, I continued my commitment to service by becoming a Law Enforcement Officer. Over the next ten years, I served in various specialized roles, including SWAT Team member, Field Training Officer, and Department Firearms Instructor.

Through these experiences, I’ve learned countless lessons, many of them the hard way, about shooting, self-defense, and what it takes to perform under pressure. I’ve trained extensively, made mistakes, and grown from them, and now I want to pass that knowledge on to you.

I founded Tactical Firearms Solutions with one goal: to help shooters of all skill levels develop real-world skills faster and more effectively. My mission is to shorten your learning curve by sharing the hard-earned lessons and insights I’ve gained from over a decade of military and law enforcement training.

Cancellation Policy

Tactical Firearms Solutions

Tactical Firearms Solutions is committed to providing high-quality firearms training while maintaining fairness to both students and instructors. Please review the following refund policy carefully before registering for a course.

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your seat in a class.

• This deposit covers course materials, administrative costs, and scheduling, and is non-refundable under all circumstances, including no-shows or late cancellations.

• The remaining balance is due the morning the class begins.

• Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in removal from the class without refund of the deposit.

• If a student cancels more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled class date, the non-refundable deposit will be retained, and no additional charges will be due.

• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class start, or failure to attend (no-show), will result in forfeiture of all payments made.

• Students removed from a course due to unsafe behavior, failure to follow instructions, or violation of range rules will not receive a refund, including deposit or remaining balance.

• At the discretion of Tactical Firearms Solutions, a student may be allowed to apply their deposit one time toward a future class if cancellation occurs at least 72 hours in advance.

• Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.

• In the event Tactical Firearms Solutions cancels a class due to instructor availability, weather, range issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, students will be offered the option of a full refund or transfer to a future class.

By registering for a course, students acknowledge and agree to this refund policy.

Waiver

Tactical Firearms Solutions

I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in firearms training, classroom instruction, and live-fire range activities conducted by Tactical Firearms Solutions.

I understand that firearms training involves the use of live ammunition and inherently dangerous activities that may result in serious injury, permanent disability, death, or property damage. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this training, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.

In consideration for being permitted to participate in training activities, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Tactical Firearms Solutions, its owners, instructors, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, host facilities, and range operators from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, damage, or death that may occur as a result of my participation, including those caused by negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in firearms training and have no medical condition that would prevent my safe participation. I understand that Tactical Firearms Solutions is not responsible for providing medical care and that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of injury.

I agree to follow all safety rules, range rules, and instructor directions at all times. I understand that failure to follow instructions or unsafe behavior may result in my immediate removal from the course without refund.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for ensuring my firearm and ammunition are safe, legal, and in proper working condition. I understand that Tactical Firearms Solutions may inspect firearms and ammunition and may prohibit the use of any equipment deemed unsafe.

I understand that removal for unsafe behavior or voluntary withdrawal from the course does not entitle me to a refund.

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.

I have read this waiver carefully, understand its contents, and sign it freely and voluntarily. I understand that by signing this document, I am giving up substantial legal rights.
