Our Image Based Decisional Drills "THE CLASS" stems from our dry practice or live practice Image Based Decisional Drills learning system. This is a well thought out KIT with a deck of 21 Image Cards that provide IMAGES that will help you to recognize danger and to make smart decisions ahead of time. Our image based learning system is another beneficial step on your way to making good decisions quickly.

Our Image Based Decisional Drills Certified Instructors will attended our 18 hour IBDD Instructor Course and in order to be certified, you will have to successfully accomplish the requirements to advance to an IBDD Instructor Graduate.
WHAT DO WE ASK OF OUR IBDDCI? When teaching, please will follow our IBDD "The Class" requirements, keep the spirit of IBDD intact, and represent our IBDD learning system.
Please will go over the 8 most common "decisions" and the importance of the less popular "9th" option. Please discuss each option in detail. Please visit the of pros and cons, why proxemics are so important, distance relative decisions, capability, tool cycling, learning to "see more", recognizing changes in your environment, pre assault cues, and so much more. If our IBDD Certified Instructors follow the above in some forem or fashion. that means that no matter who the IBDD Coach is, "The Class" will be similar across the country.
Outside of our basic requirements, each IBDD Certified Instructor can run their class based on their own personal preferences, experiences and education. We understand, and encourage, that some IBDD Certified Instructors will be ADDING IBDD's learning system to their existing classes, fabrication a new custom class, and NOT running "The Class". When teaching, please keep the spirit of IBDD intact and represent our IBDD learning system.
"THE CLASS" offers personal GUIDES to help strengthen your decision process, diagnose what's happening, and make the correction. With the use of an interactive PowerPoint presentation and a 'hands on" prop table, we will guide you to good decisions and then encourage you to PRACTICE DOING THAT! We will measure your decisional process right off the bat with images on the screen and a 10 second timer. FUN WAY TO GET YOUR GEARS TURNING. We will go over the 8 most common "decisions" and the importance of the less popular "9th" option. Each option is discussed in detail. We will visits the of pros and cons, why proxemics are so important, distance relative decisions, capability, tool cycling, learning to "see more", recognizing changes in your environment, pre assault cues, and so much more. We will move past discussions to HANDS ON training with practicing with inert (water) pepper spray units, understanding proxemics, verbal commands focusing on ASK, TELL & MAKE, 911 calls, and more. We will use our custom and unique IBDD OPTION CARDS to help you make decisions quickly, plus learn a few techniques to add to your "tool box". Are you a good witness? What is your moral compass? Do you have altered perceptions? What is your arousal level and at what point can you work through the adrenaline rush and confusion? We will crawl, walk, run and then sprint with quick cognitive stacking of decisions.

More to know about Image Based Decisional Drill Instructor Certification:
- ?Hosting a class on your turf? Brian is lead instructor. Shelley may or may not travel so plan on Brian ONLY unless discussed prior to class.
- 8 clients MIN and 16 clients MAX per class. Hosting? The host is FREE with 10 or more paid students.
- 9:00am-6:00pm each day (arrive 8:30am)
- Each client will have the opportunity to work with our 8 OPTION Cards. These OPTION Cards are VERY beneficial when working in groups. Once you are an IBDD Instructor Graduate, you are eligible to purchase OPTION Cards (see photo above). We must not forget about the rare 9th option, Force on Force training (skills and training requirements MUST be met in order to "use" this card)
- DRILLING/TRAINING IBDD OPTIONS: Walk away, run, verbal commands, flashlight, stream INERT TRAINING POM OC/Pepper Spray, tourniquet, "Failure to Neutralize", "FORCE ON FORCE" that can be used UNDER 6 feet, and calling 911 will be the focus. REPETITION IS A MUST!
- Team drills with you as a coach/guide, student and observer
- Learn how to run scenarios and modify as the scenarios unfold.
- Learn to simplify decisions being taught and clarify for your students.
- Help recognize and articulate important biological, and physiological factors that can influence human behavior and memory in force encounters.
- Students may experience Altered Perceptions, like Auditory Exclusion, Stalling, Embellishment and more. You will learn to recognize and guide them through them.
- Attack cycles and proactive mindset.

- Each client will give an IBDDI Presentation or run a scenario on Sunday. This will be evaluated by your peers with a possible short Q & A to follow.

Expectations and Outcomes
Image Based Decisional Drills Instructor Certification course instructor is Shelley Hill of The Complete Combatant.
Your Image Based Decisional Drills Instructor Certification will be issued from The Complete Combatant. This means you have attended an 18 hour course and have successfully accomplished the requirements to advance to Instructor Graduate. Please make note that just because you attend an IBDDIC course does not mean you automatically receive a graduate status. Course standards must be met. We will offer you ZOOM classes to help you on your IBDDIC journey and when you have successfully accomplished the requirements, we will celebrate with you and gladly mail you your IBDD Instructor Certificate.

Requirements
IBDDCI STUDENT REQUIREMENTS:
- You MUST HAVE PURCHASED AN IBDD KIT OR NO KIT , READ THE BOOKLET IN IT'S ENTIRETY AND WORKED WITH IBDD PRIOR TO CLASS. You do not train in IBDDIC with your KIT or NO KIT. We supply everything need in IBDDIC.
- You are required to purchase an IBDD KIT or NO KIT PRIOR TO CLASS for 2 main reasons.
- So you understand the IBDD learning system. We are teaching HOW to help with decision making, NOT techniques. That being said, of course there will be techniques taught but that is secondary to decisions.
- You will need to have an IBDD KIT or NO KIT in order to teach others.
- If you are a training team and have opted to buy one IBDD KIT to teach with AFTER IBDDIC, then ONLY one TEAM MEMBER is required to purchase but you all MUST HAVE READ THE BOOKLET IN IT'S ENTIRETY AND WORKED WITH IBDD PRIOR TO CLASS.
