Description
This five-hour outdoor semi-private pistol training class is for women who already possess basic skills. You'll run challenging drills to develop and refine core gun handling and shooting fundamentals with an emphasis on grip and vision. Working from 5 to 25 yards, you’ll be introduced to practical shooting techniques, engaging targets at various distances and incorporating movement, all under time constraints, pushing you to shoot with accuracy under stress. All classes are held at LCPCPC, 1855 Russell Rd., Lebanon, PA.
What's covered:
- You’ll run a cold drill to assess your pistol shooting fundamentals and set a baseline for your current skill level. We’ll identify strengths and areas for development.
- You’ll work drills that hone gun handling, including developing a draw stroke with a consistent index, conducting efficient reloads and quickly clearing malfunctions.
- You’ll work on building a more durable grip and train target focused shooting. You’ll begin to understand how the gun behaves in your hands for efficient and accurate shot placement.
- You’ll work dynamic drills, engaging multiple targets and shooting on the move, all on a timer to push you to shoot with urgency under stress, at more challenging distances.
Topics Covered
