Description
The Veretie Ladies Pistol Cub meets regularly for a two-hour skill building pistol workshop for more experienced women who want to challenge themselves with more difficult COFs. hone their skills and learn to shoot more aggressively for defensive and practical application. Drills focus on honing grip and vision. You’ll learn to balance speed and accuracy, incorporating longer strings of fire and simple target transitions, at distances of 7 to 12 yards. Classes are held at PTA, an indoor shooting range located in South Philadelphia's Italian Market at 831 Ellsworth St.
Topics Covered
- Regularly scheduled 2-hour pistol workshop geared toward experienced women shooters who want to challenge themselves.
- You’ll run a cold drill at the start of the class to assess skill and diagnose areas for improvement. You’ll set realistic and measurable goals for the session.
- You’ll workshop critical skills and learn practical shooting techniques that get you out of your comfort zone, pushing speed and accuracy.
- You’ll run more challenging drills with aggressive par times that will test your gun handling and your pistol shooting fundamentals.

Documentation Requirements
Valid state driver's license or state photo ID is required.
You'll be required to sign two waivers the morning of class.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
Requirements
- You must have your own semi-auto pistol to attend class. This class is NOT for beginners. You must have an understanding of the basics.
- You must have a holster, either AIWIB or OWB — preferably Kydex molded to the specific make and model of your gun and a proper gun belt to support your holster.
- You'll need electronic ear and eye protection.
- You will need a minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition. More is better.
- Bring a speed loader (I recommend Uplula).
