Description
The NRA CCW Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal protection. NRA CCW is a new curriculum that builds on the fundamentals taught in the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course and puts those skills into a defensive context for private citizens who carry concealed handguns. Course will last roughly 8-9 hours with a short lunch (done by 6pm). After a review of safety rules and basic marksmanship, CCW topics include holster selection and carry modes, drawing a handgun from concealment, defensive mindset, reloading, malfunction clearing, and much more. This course is also a mandatory prerequisite for the NRA CCW Instructor Course.

Documentation Requirements
Have taken the NRA Basic Pistol Course or a basic pistol training before this course. This is much more in-depth than a basic course. There are many things you should know before attending this course.
The instructor requires a copy of your Government Issued ID once you register.
The instructor requires a copy of your Concealed Carry Weapons permit once you register.
Requirements
will need a 9mm, up to a 40 caliber, ammunition, holster from concealment
eye and ear protection and a baseball cap
the holster must be for belt carry
