Description

BECOME AN NRA PISTOL INSTRUCTOR. This course is taught by a Professional, Experienced retired SWAT Team leader who teaches the essential components required to organize, promote and teach an NRA Basic Shooting course. This 16-hour course includes Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and Basic Pistol Instructor Certification Training. This course meets the requirements for FL, SC, NC and other states, allowing you to apply for state accreditations which is necessary to teach state Concealed Weapon Permit licensing courses. Check with your state for complete requirements. Military, First Responders and former ACT students receive discounts
NRA PREREQUISITES: Instructor candidates MUST have completed the Basics of Pistol Shooting (Instructor Led Only) prior to taking the instructor Course. Candidates are to complete the skills test as outlined in APPENDIX 5 (emailed to you). Instructor Course must have a minimum of 4 students. Expectations and Outcomes

This class is for experienced shooters. The shooting will require you to shoot 20 rounds
(slow fire) of 9mm or larger caliber at 45 feet into a 9 inch circle. You must have 16 round out of 20 within the 9 inch circle with no more than a 6 inch spread.
